• Six major North American regions are identified in each book, along with an illustrated cross-section of the entire ecosystem showing representative plants, animals and habitats.
• Four pages for each of the six regions include a map, “hard-to-find” species or habitats, written information about the region and a two-page “diorama-like” illustration with the commonly encountered plants and animals labeled.
